Back in 1985, Chan Ping-wing, the founder of Dynasty Violins, a pioneer in the stringed instrument scene in Hong Kong, started making and trading handmade violins.

Today we offer a large selection of fine instruments of the violin family. From fractioned sized for young musicians, to antique instruments by the hands of master craftsman of the pass.

Current owner of Dynasty Violins, Ping-wing’s son Derek Chan, a professionally trained violinist from young, infuses his music training into his craftsmanship, who is known for his sound adjustments that unlocks the potential of instruments.
